This page explains the cookies and browser storage used by the NoLogVPN website today and how third-party services may apply their own technical cookies.

Current Site Storage

NoLogVPN uses only the technical storage needed for authentication, enrollment, Operations security, and the language preference. The cookies below are HttpOnly, so page JavaScript cannot read them, and are Secure in production.

nologvpn_session: keeps the account authenticated until token expiry or logout; SameSite=Lax, Path=/ .

nologvpn_operations_mfa: temporarily confirms two-factor verification for Operations; SameSite=Strict, Path=/, with a short duration set by the MFA session.

nologvpn_enrollment: securely links verified enrollment to checkout and expires within 48 hours; SameSite=Lax, Path=/ .

localStorage: site_locale: stores only the EN/RO choice until it is changed or browser storage is cleared.

sessionStorage: temporarily keeps the verification email, next destination, and chosen plan in the current tab; values are removed after use and disappear when the tab session ends.

No Marketing Cookies From Us

NoLogVPN does not currently use its own advertising cookies, behavioral profiling cookies, or analytics tracking cookies on the site.

Third-Party Technical Cookies

Third-party services such as Cloudflare, Stripe-hosted checkout, or app-store links may set their own technical or security cookies under their own policies. Those third-party cookies are not controlled by NoLogVPN.

Future Changes

If NoLogVPN later adds non-essential cookies such as analytics, marketing, or optional personalization cookies, this policy should be updated and any required consent flow should be added before those tools go live.
