Law Enforcement Request Policy
This policy explains how NoLogVPN handles official requests and how the no-log promise limits the data available about VPN activity.
Where to Send Requests
This is the single point of contact for official requests and user questions about such requests. We accept communications in Romanian or English at [email protected]. NoLogVPN may request additional verification before responding.
What a Request Should Include
Main Limit: No VPN Activity Logs
We do not collect, store, or monitor VPN activity logs. This means we do not store browsing history, DNS queries, destination IP addresses, traffic contents, VPN session activity, or records linking a user account to websites or services accessed through the VPN.
Limited Data That May Exist
This data is not VPN activity data and may be disclosed only if it is available and validly required by law.
Response Principles
NoLogVPN verifies the requester's identity, authority, legal basis, and proportionality; seeks to narrow the request to strictly necessary data; and challenges or rejects invalid or excessive demands where permitted and justified. We do not create new logs to answer retroactively. We retain the evidence needed about the request and response for legal compliance and defense of rights.
User Notice
We notify the user before disclosure where legally permitted and where notice does not lawfully compromise the request. If a legal prohibition delays notice, we may notify after it is lifted where notice remains permitted and appropriate. We cannot promise notice where law prohibits it or where sufficient contact data is unavailable.
Emergency Requests
A request concerning imminent danger must identify the emergency, person at risk, data sought, and why ordinary process is insufficient. Urgency does not bypass identity and legal-basis verification and cannot make us provide data we do not hold.
