Subscription, Cancellation, and Billing Policy

This page explains the commercial rules users accept before a paid subscription checkout.

Effective: 21/08/2026Updated: 21/08/2026Version: 2026-08-21-r6

Account Creation After Payment

Enrollment starts after choosing a plan and verifying the email, but that temporary stage is not a user account and cannot access the dashboard, devices, or VPN. The account and subscription are created only after Stripe confirms successful payment. Abandoned enrollments expire automatically.

Service Supply and Customer Setup

After Stripe confirms payment, NoLogVPN activates the account and makes the dashboard, WireGuard configuration, and paid plan capacity accessible for the paid period. To route a phone, laptop, or other device through the VPN, the customer must create a configuration under Dashboard > Devices, save or import it into the official WireGuard app, and turn on the tunnel. The subscription pays for the service's continuing availability and renews until canceled; not signing in, not creating a device, not importing the configuration, leaving the tunnel off, or generating no traffic does not automatically pause or cancel the subscription and does not, by itself, create an automatic refund right. The customer must review subscription status, renewal date, and devices in the dashboard and request cancellation before the next renewal if the service is no longer wanted. Stopping renewal and deleting the account are separate actions. This clause does not limit mandatory withdrawal, failure-to-supply, or conformity rights, including where the service is inaccessible or the setup instructions are inadequate.

Subscription Terms

NoLogVPN subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Registered devices can remain on your account, while simultaneous connection limits depend on the active subscription attached to your account. If more devices try to stay connected at the same time than your plan allows, the newest extra live connection is rejected automatically while the already-active sessions remain connected.

Recurring Payment Authorization

By confirming checkout, you authorize Stripe and NoLogVPN to charge the selected payment method for the displayed price and taxes at the start of each monthly period until cancellation. You confirm that you may use the payment method and that the billing information is accurate. Stripe stores card details; NoLogVPN retains only the payment references needed to administer the subscription.

Flex Plan Billing

Where Flex is available and selected at checkout, the EUR 12/month access fee is paid in advance and aggregate transferred data is billed in arrears from the first GB at EUR 0.03 per decimal GB (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes). Metering sums only received and sent bytes for the invoice cycle and contains no websites, destinations, DNS queries, content, protocols, apps, or session history. Flex includes 10 simultaneous connections, has no hard data cap, and does not reduce speed based on monthly usage volume. Actual speed is not guaranteed and depends on the device, route, internet connection, server load, and third-party services. Cancellation stops the next renewal, but aggregate usage accrued until access ends remains billable. Applicable tax, credits, and adjustments appear on the final Stripe invoice.

Failed Payments and Subscription Recovery

If renewal fails, Stripe may retry payment according to the active configuration and may send recovery notices. Access may remain temporarily available, be limited, or be suspended when the subscription no longer has an active status. We do not impose a separate retry charge, and the customer may update the payment method through the Stripe flow available from the account.

Fair Use and Network Protection

Plans are subject to a fair-use and network-protection policy. During the first 14 days, a separate initial traffic window applies: Basic up to 30 GB and Pro up to 50 GB. That full-speed allowance accrues progressively and unused allowance carries forward. If the currently accrued balance is exhausted, speed may be reduced until more allowance accrues, the window ends, or manual review changes the device state. After day 15, the remaining monthly bandwidth becomes available at normal speed. Once the full plan cap is exhausted, the connection may remain in reduced-speed mode until the cycle resets or manual review changes the device state. See the Fair Use & Network Protection Policy for the fuller details.

Founding Pricing Scope

Founding pricing is tied to the active subscribed plan. If you keep the same plan active, that plan's founding price remains locked. If you later switch to a different plan after public pricing changes, the different plan may use its then-current live price instead of automatically inheriting the older founding price from the previous plan.

Future Price Changes

NoLogVPN reserves the right to update subscription prices from time to time, including to reflect inflation, changes in payment processing costs, Stripe or other processor costs, hosting, server, bandwidth, DNS, email, security, maintenance, tax, compliance, accounting, or other costs necessary to operate and maintain the service. Price changes may apply to new subscriptions immediately. For existing subscriptions, we will provide notice of material price changes before they take effect where required by applicable law or payment processor rules, and you may cancel your subscription before the new price applies if you do not agree to it. Any founding or promotional price lock applies only if expressly stated for your plan and only while the qualifying subscription remains active and unchanged.

Price and Billing

The final amount is shown in Stripe before payment. Stripe collects billing details and may request the customer's tax ID for business purchases. Tax treatment may change only for future transactions if the provider's status or applicable rules change.

Cancellation

You can request cancellation from the dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewal and access continues until the end of the current paid billing period. A separate account-deletion request is scheduled after the subscription ends and can be canceled before that date.

Inactive Account and Deletion Notices

If an account remains without an active subscription for at least 14 days, NoLogVPN may email a notice confirming that service protection is inactive and stating the scheduled date for deletion of the local account. A final reminder is sent before deletion. Activating a subscription before the stated date automatically cancels deletion. These messages do not create a charge or mean that VPN activity is being monitored.

Plan Changes

Upgrades from BASIC to PRO may be billed immediately on a prorated basis. Downgrades from PRO to BASIC are scheduled for the next renewal date instead of applying immediately. Registered devices stay on the account across plan changes, but simultaneous connection limits change with the active plan. After a downgrade takes effect, the newest extra live connection is rejected automatically if the active plan's limit is exceeded.

Immediate Service Start

When you continue to checkout, you request immediate activation of the digital VPN service after payment succeeds.

Checkout Name Attestation

The name typed at checkout must be the customer's legal or billing full name, or the full name of a person authorized to subscribe for the payer. The typed name is recorded as the customer's electronic signature for the subscription consent record.

Withdrawal and Refund Handling

Where applicable consumer withdrawal rights apply, the withdrawal period is generally 14 days from contract conclusion. Where the user requested immediate activation, any refund may be adjusted proportionally to reflect service already delivered before withdrawal. Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, NoLogVPN does not provide prorated refunds for voluntary mid-cycle downgrades or voluntary mid-cycle cancellations. See the separate Refund Policy for the fuller service policy summary.

Account Deletion

Deleting an account permanently removes service access, authentication, devices, configurations, and local operational data. If a subscription is active, deletion is scheduled for after the subscription ends and can be canceled from the dashboard before that date. Accounts without an active subscription can be deleted immediately after confirmation.

Minimal History After Closure

After deletion, NoLogVPN retains one minimal account and contract timeline for legal obligations, accounting, disputes, and the defense of claims under the Privacy Policy. It may include the normalized email, account reference, typed checkout signature, consent version, plan or processor references, and important account or subscription actions. It does not include passwords, tokens, card data, WireGuard keys, VPN activity, browsing, DNS queries, destinations, handshakes, or transfer counters.

Consent Record

NoLogVPN stores a subscription consent record containing the selected plan, typed checkout name, version and cryptographic fingerprint of the policy package, included documents, language, checkout timestamp, and related subscription or payment references needed for account, billing, and dispute handling.

Agreement Version

The current checkout agreement version is 2026-08-21-r6. The consent record retains the version actually accepted by each customer; this version is not represented as having been accepted retroactively by customers who completed checkout under an earlier version.
